Martells Tiki Bar Pier on the beachfront of Point Pleasant Beach was destroyed by Hurricane Sandy. Unlike so many other areas, Martells managed to reopen just 3 weeks after the storm, according to Assistant General Manager Ed Brannagan .
Sharkey-Images has been following the progress of Martells restoration and they appear to be on target to have their Pier open for Memorial Day weekend if not sooner. For now, while under construction, the entire inside facility is "OPEN for BUSINESS".
