Brick, NJ
In attending the benefit concert for the "Brick Moose Club" which was devastated by Superstorm Sandy, a young (14-16 year olds) 3 person band came out on stage. Their name, "The Micro Machines" . From the first chord I knew these kids were anything but micro. They were a small band with a big sound ! Quite surprising was the music they were playing. The band brought back some memories of the '70s for me. They have a wide range from blues to the rock sounds of Led Zeppelin. I really enjoyed being a part of the benefit, but hearing these kids play had me wanting to hear more. I was not alone on this. The band was called back for an encore. I could not help myself but to put a quick music video together for them and share with anyone willing to listen.
