Image of the Week "The Great Red Fox""  of Island Beach State Park, NJ

The Foxes are great to encounter, but you should still keep your distance.  As well noted by the Park Administration, you should never feed them.

This only lures them to vehicles as they pas by and increases the chances of the being killed.

If fed by human they become to rely on the humans. There is plenty for them to eat there naturally.

This image was a huge attraction at this past weekend's Art Walk in Smithville, NJ. It made it's was to a new home.
