Just hours ago I learned that my long time friend Anthony Sauta had suddenly passed away.

The man was simply just one of "The Good Guys". 

He was one that was always there for me and anyone else. 

Just weeks ago we had a very long talk. He spoke of his mom passing and how she lived her life 100 mph up until the day she had passed. 

We both seem to agree, that is the way to live because there is no guarantee that we will live to see tomorrow.

I told him how much I was impressed with how much he has accomplished in life. With everyone that worked for him has been around a very long time and are like family.  I asked, "Just how do you do it?" He goes onto tell me that he surrounds himself with good people. 

He loved every person that worked for him, and I got to see that first hand when he asked to come shoot his corporate Christmas Party in 2014. He would hold the event in a ballroom at a hotel and made sure everyone had a room to stay the night so no one would have to drive home.

I will always remember the great rides we had in his Outerlimits, and the suggestions he gave me on shooting his boat when I was just starting out. 

I carry his advice on every shoot since then. 

With his passing, he is leaving a huge void in many of us. I know it will take some time, but we need to be strong and celebrate Anthony's life.

He is certainly going to be missed by so many people .
