Ortley Beach, NJ
After Superstorm Sandy filled Bakin' Bagels with approximately 6 feet of water which is now prodominatly marked with a red line on the interior wall, the Bakin' Bagels fought back and is now OPEN for Business. "Everything is new and replaced" said owner Rick "Ricky Bagels" Sullivan. Speaking with Ricky's electrician Joe Nasso of Nasso Electric over the weekend, he suggested that I should stop in to see the signs of recovery in Ortley Beach. People are starting to pick up the pieces in town, but they have a long way to go for a full recovery. For more images of Bakin Bagels and of Ortley Beach CLICK HERE
